In this workshop, we present and discuss references to the time of revolutions and upheavals around 100 years ago in the work of various contemporary international artists. First we go on a political city tour, where we follow the traces left by these and other revolutionary events not online in the collective memory but also specifically in the city and streetscape of Dresden. Than in the exhibition "R_E_VOLUTION 1918/2018 - 100 years, 50 years, today, tomorrow, sometime" at Motorenhalle Dresden we talk about the specific works and its contexts. On the following day artists give insights into their work and on this topic, the question of the social impact of art. (please note in the comment section, if you need an overnight stay)
