Der Filmclub cine|lokal@Friedrichstadt öffnet seine Türen und lädt zum STADTTEILKINO ins riesa efau. Die Filmreihe schafft ein Angebot für Alle und bringt dafür zwei Kinofilme in die Friedrichstadt. Im Anschluss besteht die Möglichkeit zum Filmgespräch.

PATERSON erzählt die Geschichte des Busfahrers Paterson (Adam Driver), der genauso heißt wie der Ort, in dem er lebt. Die Kleinstadt in New Jersey und ihre eigentümlichen Bewohner sind die Inspiration für seine Gedichte, die er Tag für Tag in der Mittagspause auf der Parkbank verfasst. Die Welt seiner Frau Laura (Golshifteh Farahani) dagegen ist im ständigen Wandel. Fast täglich hat sie neue Träume, jeder einzelne von ihnen ein anderes, inspirierendes Projekt. Paterson liebt Laura und sie ihn. Er unterstützt ihre neugefundenen Ambitionen und sie bewundert seine Gabe für Poesie.

The cine|lokal@Friedrichstadt film club opens its doors and invites you to its STADTTEILKINO at riesa efau. With our film screenings we create an event for everyone by bringing two feature films to Dresden Friedrichstadt. There will be the opportunity for a film talk after the screenings.

Paterson (Adam Driver) is a hardworking bus driver in Paterson, N.J., who follows the same routine every day. He observes the city and listens to fragments of conversations while picking up and dropping off his passengers. Paterson also writes heartfelt poems in a notebook, walks his dog and drinks one beer in a bar after his shift is over. Waiting for him at home is Laura (Golshifteh Farahani), his beloved wife who champions his gift for writing.
