Ausstellung der 19. dresdner schmalfilmtage 2018

Die Ausstellung „Schmalfilmtage Echo“ zeigt während der 19. dresdner schmalfilmtage - internationales festival für 8 und 16 mm film 2018 - produzierte remixes und mashups. In Via Lewandowskys “Edit Art History” Festivalworkshop konnten Interessierte sowie Student_innen der Hochschule für Bildende Künste Dresden und der Fakultät für Kunst und Design der JEPU Ústí nad Labem mit Super8-Archivmaterial aus den 1980er Jahren arbeiten. Via Lewandowsky und Prof. Jens Büttner produzierten damals diese Schmalfilme, die bis Januar 2018 völlig unbearbeitet waren. Sie boten diese Filme den Workshopteilnehmer_innen digitalisiert an, um neue remixes und mashups zu produzieren. Mehr als zehn Kurzfilme und Installationen sind so entstanden und werden jetzt in der Ausstellung „Schmalfilmtage Echo“ in der Runde Ecke präsentiert. Drážďanským Schmalfilmtage 2018 Na workshopu nazvaném Edit Art History Via Lewandowsky, který byl součástí 19. Drážďanských Schmalfilmtage 2018, studenti z Drážďanské Akademie Výtvarných umění a z Fakulty umění a designu Univerzity Jana Evangelisty Purkyně v Ústí nad Labem pracovali s archivními filmovými materiály z 80. let. Super8 filmy vytvořené v osmdesátých letech Via Lewandowským a profesorem Jensem Büttnerem byly nezpracované až do ledna roku 2018. Kdy byly digitalizovány a studenti je zremixovali, kompilovali a přetvářeli. Více než deset krátkých filmů a instalací je výsledkem tohoto workshopu a tyto díla jsou nyní prezentována na výstavě Ozvěny Schmalfilmtage v Runde Ecke Galerii v Drážďanech. Via Lewandowsky and Prof. Jens Büttner produced these super8 films atthat time and they were unprocessed until January 2018. They digitalised these films to produce new remixes and mashups.
