Workshop: Fremde Welten Cizí Svĕty

— Was erlebten wir in den 1990ern anderes, als eine fremde Welt im Vertrauten? Welche Situationen werden heute von Vielen als Bruch mit ihrer vertrauten Welt wahrgenommen? Das Stichwort vor 30 Jahren lautete Transformation, jenes der Jugendromane Utopie und heute ist es die Globalisierung. Natürlich ziehen sich rote Fäden durch diese Begriffe, für uns: Fremde Welten. Tschechische, deutsche und slowakische Illustrator*innen realisieren Zeichnungen und Siebdrucke zu „Fremde Welten Cizí Svĕty“ in den Druckwerkstätten des riesa efau und laden zur gleichnamigen Ausstellungseröffnung am 3.5., 20 Uhr in die Runde Ecke ein.

— Did we experience anything other in the 90's than a strange world within the familiar one? Which situations are seen today as a break with that which we are familiar with? 30 years ago the keywords were transformation, utopia (in youth novels), today globalisation is the motto. It is obvious that a red thread runs through all of these terms and boils down to one idea: 'strange new world'. Czech, Polish and German illustrators work on the topic “Strange worlds” in “riesa efau. Kultur Forum Dresden“, April 28 – May 4, 2019. The artwork created will be displayed at the opening on May 3, 2019 in Riesa's project room “Runde Ecke”.
